Dolomite

Dolomite is a carbonate mineral, which is the main mineral composition of dolomite and dolomitic limestone. Its chemical composition is CaMg(CO3)2.
Characteristics
It decomposes into a mixture of CO2 and CaO, MgO when heated to 700-900 ℃, which is prone to react with water.
Calcined at 1500 ℃, MgO becomes periclase, CaO transforms into crystalline a-CaO, with dense structure, strong water resistance and fire resistance up to 2300 ℃.
